The Tyde - Where It's Always 86 Degrees

Regardless of the fact that Ernesto has dampened our end of the summer Labor Day spirits, even if the sun was shining the rolling around of this September weekend always evokes a nostalgic symbolism...which is why The Tyde's California warmth is so comforting and welcoming.

The LA based five piece owes as much to the Beach Boys and Jan & Dean as to The Byrds, Jesus & Mary Chain and Teenage Fanclub. The Tyde's a family affair fronted by Darren Rademaker on singing and guitars, his wife Ann on keys, brother Brent on bass, pal Ben Knight on more guitars and the legendary Ric Menck on drums. The band's new album Three's Co. is just out on Rough Trade and features guest appearances from Mickey Madden of Maroon 5 and Conor Deasy of The Thrills.
