Samara Lubelski Loves The Colors of the Sun

My latest love affair is with Samara Lubelski whose day-glo folkadelica and shimmering acoustics have been speaking to me frequently here with repeated plays on the SVB wheel of steel.

Her album Parallel Suns is coming out on The Social Registry on October 9th. Samara's ethereal and intimate vocals and songs bring to mind 60's popstress Margo Guryan, Juana Molina and Nico. Her music is a welcome respite from the world of noise we're all so regularly engaged in and offers tranquility and beauty.
