New Earlimart

Aaron Espinoza and Ariana Murray are LA's Earlimart. They've always been on the periphery of my musical radar. What I have heard of their previous stuff had a vibe I've always dug, but while vibes are one thing, songs are another. T-Bone Burnett once told me: "At the end of the day, people need and want to hang their hats on a song." I guess I'm one of those guys who needs a musical hook to hang their hat on (well, at least most of the time). I'm digging this new Earlimart song; it's from their new album, Hymn and Her. Perhaps as I make my way through their new album, it will shed a new light on their previous work; for now, check out this song.
