Meet Hacienda
The San Antonio band Hacienda came recommended to me recently by Scott from one of this town's finest Dr. Dog whom the Texas band are currently out on tour with. Hacienda's new album was produced by Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys and features members of Dr. Dog.
Loud Is The Night is being released on September 16th on Alive Records and it's a roots-indierock extravaganza. Hacienda mine the territory where Los Lobos, Sir Douglas Quintet and the Beach Boys all co-mingle in blissed out 60's AM radio psych/garagerock fervor.
Keep your ears out for these guys. Any band that can do justice to Sonny & Cher's "Baby Don't Go" scores some high points.
