When she’s not flexing her vocals as back-up singer for the Bird and the Bee, Alex Lilly is the voice and songwriter behind the sunny LA pop band Obi Best. Whimsical, dreamy, synthy catchy, equal parts Stereolab, The Association and sometimes playfully Bjorky, Alex/Obi's record Capades came out over this past summer digitally and will be physically available in 2009 on Social Science Records.
